Bento #115 : Pokemon pasta in cheese sauce, mini chocolate muffin, grapes and cubed cheese.
In Boylet's current favourite bento box.

For Bento #116 : Decided to be more ambitious and make a Pikachu sandwich as well (Boylet is more a bread person than rice). I used the Pikachu rice mould to cut out the shape on bread, and tried to cut the features as closely to the mould as possible. Made this for boylet's lunch (another replacement class right after kindy) so had plenty of time.
Contents : Pikachu strawberry jam sandwich (features were also stuck on with jam), pokemon pasta with carbonara sauce (in container under the bread), a crabmeat-on-stick and chicken nugget.

Unfortunately, the Pokemon bento box was too small to fit all these in. So I used another box instead. Another justification for this recent purchase (among others) from MarketPlace. With two levels, it can pack more than the Pokemon box above. For snack bento, I will just use one layer. Boylet is absolutely thrilled with this.

Now that Pikachu is off the TV screen, I've almost forgotten about this cute little thing....
having his favourites in his Bento, what better booster for his appetite is there than that? Great thinking mommy. *wink*
Very cute Pokemon. :) I wanted to get that lunch box at first, but my kids asked, who is that? LOL! They didn't know much about Pokemon yet.
Well done! Glad to hear that its 'cool' to bring bentos these days!
the pasta looks plain..u just boil it? no sauce? its very healthy this way but doubt my kids will eat it this way.
the pokemon's face look real! Hehehe...

Rachel : The kids may eat pasta aglio olio, but definitely not plain. The first had cheese sauce at the bottom and the second carbonara in a different container. Didn't stir the pasta with sauce as Boylet likes to see the details on the pasta. Kids!
